Kirribilli

As the first suburb you encounter when you come east off the Harbour Bridge from the city, Kirribilli is a picturesque, exclusive suburb steeped in history. It’s home to two landmark residences – Kirribilli House, the official Sydney residence of the Prime Minister and Admiralty House, the official Sydney residence of the Governor-General.

Apartments from a variety of eras sit side-by-side with grand period abodes, and with harbour on three sides of this prestigious peninsula, many enjoy magical views. Kirribilli has a great village atmosphere with a thriving restaurant and café culture, weekend markets and the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron for boating enthusiasts.

Unwind in one of the many idyllic reserves that dot the coastline and marvel at the backdrop. Jump on the ferry and take a short, scenic trip into the CBD, or catch the train just one stop.

Our happy customers in Kirribilli

10/29 Waruda Street Kirribilli

I would like to thank Lucy and the team at David Murphy Real Estate for recently selling our 4 apartments at Regents Flats, 29 Waruda St Kirribilli.

Over the last 3 months, I have found Lucy’s property knowledge and expertise during the sales cycle to be second to none. Lucy demonstrated a detailed understanding of the Kirribilli market and worked tirelessly to ensure our targeted price ranges were obtained.

With regards to customer service, Lucy kept us constantly “in the loop” on the status of the marketing campaign and listened to our needs at time of negotiation.

Overall we found the selling of these properties to be a seamless, incident free process.

Based on our recent experience I am sure when the time arises, we will utilise Lucy’s services again, and I would have no qualms recommending David Murphy Real Estate  to others that may want to sell their valued property.

We appointed Lucy White and David Murphy Real Estate after a very thorough review of agents in the area. We’d initially had a bit of a bad experience with another agent that could have proved very costly had we gone with them– we were in a rush and a bit naïve.

However it worked out because after that we really did our homework, reviewing six agents before appointing Lucy and David Murphy. Lucy has had a lot of experience in selling properties on the Lower North Shore and she was very accurate in her market appraisal. As the market was just on the turn we went with a private treaty sale – which, in our case proved to be exactly the right approach.

Lucy then swung her team into action and every one of them was very professional. We got great images of the property, an outstanding stylist, a good handyman to fix up some small household jobs, great copywriting on the ads and the support of the agency staff who were knowledgeable and efficient. During the sales period Lucy kept us well informed. We attracted a good number of serious buyers and she was impressive in the way she connected and followed up with them. Always ethical in her approach, not pushy or aggressive, but a terrier nevertheless.

In a turning market, you really see the skill of a good agent – and the result was wonderful: the highest price yet paid for a unit in the building. Thank you Lucy and team – we would happily recommend you to any prospective seller.
